Milling Cutters
WIDIA and Gühring solid carbide end mills, indexable cutter bodies and geometries and coatings from roughing to fine finishing.
Home / Milling Cutters

Milling often takes up most of a part’s machining time, so even a small improvement in cutter choice shows up directly in cycle time and tooling cost.
Mentor Mühendislik offers WIDIA indexable and solid carbide cutters together with Gühring’s end mill range. We run trials at your machine in Adana and the surrounding region and choose the cutter type, flute count and cutting data for your part together with you.
- WIDIA and Gühring cutters from one supplier
- A wide material range, from aluminium to hardened steel
- High metal removal in roughing, low roughness in finishing
- Trials and cutting data support at your machine
Types of Milling Cutters
Solid Carbide End Mills
For slots, pockets and contours, with a choice of flute counts and helix angles.
Dynamic / Trochoidal Milling Cutters
Full-length cutting with low radial engagement for long-life roughing with modern CAM strategies.
Indexable Face Mills
Facing large surfaces; an economical choice on cast iron and steel blocks.
Shoulder Mills
Indexable bodies for 90° shoulders and steps.
Ball Nose End Mills
Copy milling and fine finishing on molds and 3D forms.
Chamfer and Deburring Cutters
To finish edges and burrs in the same setup.

How to Choose the Right Tool
Share the part and material
Drawing, material and hardness let us pick the right cutter family.
Agree on a strategy
Conventional roughing or dynamic milling? We decide based on your CAM software and machine.
Trial on your machine
We test the recommended cutter and evaluate chips, sound and surface finish together.
Standardise
Approved cutters and cutting data go into your routing, with a regular supply plan.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need special cutters for dynamic (trochoidal) milling?
Not strictly, but they help. In dynamic milling the tool cuts along its full length with low radial engagement; longer flutes, more flutes and chip-splitting edges give the best results.
WIDIA or Gühring?
Both are first-class. WIDIA is strong in indexable bodies and insert systems, and both brands offer excellent solid carbide end mills. We choose the best price-performance option for your application.
Why does the milled surface finish deteriorate?
Typical causes are tool wear, high runout, long tool overhang and an unsuitable feed per tooth. Check the tool holder and cutting data together.
Can we trial a cutter first?
For suitable applications we plan a trial on your machine and share the tool life and cycle time comparison with you.
